In the late 1980's, I was photographing graffiti on the streets of Los Angeles with a Canon F1 SLR camera. The graffiti was a new landscape form, a vivid description of the dreams and fears of those who socialized on the streets of L.A. Uncensored, unedited, they offered a vibrant image of urban living in Southern California.
